The Lighting Agency’s Story
Bill’s father, Charlie Nelson was the owner of Norwest Inc. and worked as a manufactrer’s
representative for over 50 years, specializing
in the Aerospace sector by providing products and services to the Boeing Company. Over the years he
passed down much of his knowledge of the industry
and strong character traits to his son Bill Nelson.
In 1983 Bill Nelson partnered with Will Bennett of The Lighting Agency, and together created The Lighting Agency Norwest. Will brought with him his knowledge and experience in the distribution sector of the electrical industry to combine with Bill’s extensive sales experience in the lighting and electrical industry.
Bill Nelson has been the sole proprietor of The Lighting Agency Norwest
since 1987, when Will decided to return to his roots in lighting showrooms.
Through the years The Lighting Agency Norwest has remained a
family owned and operated company that specializes in excellent customer
service, intense product knowledge and friendly staff.
